Our workshop is at Andru Nilayam, which is Plot No. 15 in Sri Saikrupa Enclave. It’s tucked away behind Khajaguda Village. It’s a bit of a trek to find us if you don’t know the area well because the roads behind the village can be confusing and aren’t always paved perfectly. The enclave is a bit quieter than the main road, which is nice for getting work done. We work with non-woven materials, so the space is usually filled with big rolls of fabric and scraps on the floor. It’s a very hands-on job. We spend most of our time standing at the machines or checking the quality of the material. The building itself is sturdy, though it gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons when the sun hits the roof. We have a small group of workers who have been here since the start. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door; you usually just have to shout to get someone’s attention over the noise of the machinery. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We like being slightly out of the way because it gives us more room to breathe. We just keep our heads down, run the machines, and make sure we meet our deadlines. It’s not complicated, just steady daily labor. We mostly stay busy with the fabrication and don't worry about the outside world much.
