AO Vision Infrastructures LLP is over in Salarjung Colony in Hyderabad, at H.No: 9 4 86/46 and 47. It’s an interesting part of the city to work in because you have the old and the new all mixed together. We deal with infrastructure projects, which sounds like big talk, but really it just means we build the stuff that helps people get around or stay connected. Our office is a busy place with people coming and going all day. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and checking ground levels. It’s not just about the big machines; it’s about making sure the drainage is right and the foundations are solid. We don’t have a marketing department telling us what to say. We just know that if you don’t do the job right the first time, you’ll be back fixing it later, and nobody wants that. The Hyderabad heat can make the work tough during the summer months, but we try to start early to beat the sun. Managing the logistics of moving heavy equipment through the colony streets is always a challenge. We work with a regular crew of guys who have been with us for a while. We don't make big promises we can't keep; we just look at the plans and try to follow them as best as we can. Our days are full of phone calls, site inspections, and a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries.
