Ants Montessori Pre School

We are tucked away in Balaji Nagar, just a bit off the busy Miyapur X Road. If you know the area, you know how noisy the main junction gets, but things feel a little different once you walk into our gates here at Ants Montessori Pre School. Every morning starts about the same way. We open up the doors around eight, sweep the floors, and get the rooms ready before the first few kids show up. Most of the families live right here in Miyapur, so we see a lot of the same faces walking down the street every day. It’s a lot of work keeping up with small children, but we just get on with it. The classrooms have the usual Montessori stuff, lots of wooden blocks and things for the kids to touch. We spend a lot of time just watching them play or helping them figure out how to put their shoes on. By lunchtime, the place is pretty loud, and then it gets quiet again for naps. It isn’t fancy, and the building is just a normal place at 1-41/3/5, but it works for us. We deal with the Hyderabad heat like everyone else, keeping the fans going and making sure there is plenty of water. When evening comes and the parents return from work, the street gets busy again. We lock up, head home, and come back to do it all over the next day.
