Anjna Play School is based at House No 53/54 in Uppal. It’s a small place, really, because we deal with the little ones. The house was converted to make room for play areas and small tables. Hyderabad can be a loud city, but inside our walls, it’s mostly just the sound of toddlers playing or singing. We’ve got toys scattered around and colorful drawings pinned to the walls. Being at House No 53/54 means we are right in a residential pocket of Uppal. Most of the parents just walk over to drop their kids off. It feels very much like a neighbor’s house rather than a formal institution. There’s a small garden area where the children spend some time outside when the weather allows. We have to keep a close eye on them, of course. The floors are covered with mats to keep things soft. It’s not a high-tech facility. We use simple things like blocks, crayons, and picture books. Sometimes the kids get a bit cranky in the afternoons before nap time. The staff here is used to the noise and the occasional spilled juice. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. People find us because they live nearby and see the sign on the gate. It’s a practical, friendly spot for the neighborhood’s youngest residents to spend their mornings. We try to keep it as calm as possible even when things get busy.
