We’ve been in this business for a bit, and we’ve seen how much this area has changed over the years. Our office isn't one of those glass-and-steel skyscrapers you see everywhere now. It’s a practical space where we can actually get work done without being distracted. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and checking on materials. It’s a lot of coordination, really. Some days are just spent on the phone, and other days we’re out in the dust at a project site. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We build and we manage. That’s about it. There’s always something that needs fixing or a plan that needs a slight tweak because things never go exactly as they look on paper. We’ve learned to be flexible because that’s just the reality of building things in a place like this. Most of the people working here have been with us for a while, so we’re a tight-knit group. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write pretty speeches for us. We just focus on the bricks and the concrete and making sure everything is where it should be by the end of the day.
