Anil Garments

Anil Garments is located over on Pooranapul Road, which gets really busy, especially on market days. We've been operating out of this small space for quite some years. It's mostly me and my nephew running the place. We sell all sorts of garments, but we've got a lot of stuff for children and daily wear for men. It’s the kind of shop where the stock reaches up to the ceiling in some corners. We try to keep it organized, but when you have so many different sizes and colors, things get mixed up once in a while. Jummerat Bazar is a lively place to be, and we feel like a part of the community here. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in when they're passing by or if they need something new for a festival. We have some regulars who come from the other side of the river just to see what we’ve got. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we take pride in having things that are affordable. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, and the floor is a little worn down, but it’s a comfortable place for us. We just take it one day at a time, serving the folks who live around here and making sure they leave with something they can actually use for their work or school. We keep it simple.
