Aniframes - School Of Animation And Vfx is tucked away at Survey No 8 & 9 in Uppal. It’s a bit of a different kind of place for this part of Hyderabad. Most days you’ll find students hunched over screens, working on their drawings or trying to figure out some software. The area around Survey No 8 & 9 is mostly quiet, which helps when people are trying to focus on their creative work. We’ve been here in Uppal for a bit now. People often miss the turn the first time they visit. It’s not a huge corporate office or anything like that. It feels more like a workshop. Sometimes the computers get a bit loud with all the fans running, especially in the afternoon heat. We have some old posters on the walls and plenty of coffee mugs lying around. The students come from all over the city, taking the bus or riding their bikes. It’s a lot of long hours. If you walk in, you might see someone sketching in a notebook or arguing about a frame. It’s not always organized, things get messy with cables and notes everywhere. We don’t go for anything too polished here. It’s about getting the work done. The neighborhood knows us as that animation place. It’s just a practical space where people learn the trade. We stay busy through the week, and the weekends are often just as full. You get used to the hum of the machines after a while.
