Anganawadi Pre School

This pre-school is located at House No 1-5-153/3 on Road No 12 F in Dilsukhnagar. It is a small place designed for very young children who are just starting their education. We use a residential house for the school, which helps the little kids feel more at home. It can be scary for a three-year-old to go to a big school, so being in a house makes it a bit easier for them. We have been in this part of Hyderabad for some time now. Road No 12 F is usually a bit quieter than the main parts of Dilsukhnagar, which is nice for the children. We spend our days doing very basic things. We teach them their ABCs, we count together, and we do a lot of drawing and coloring. There is no corporate polish here. It is just a few of us who like working with kids. We have a lot of toys and books scattered around. Sometimes the rooms get a bit messy, but that is what happens when you have a house full of toddlers. The local parents know us well and often drop their kids off on their way to work. We don't do any big advertising. People just know we are here on the road and they bring their kids to us. It is a simple, down-to-earth place that serves the families in our immediate neighborhood. We like watching the kids grow up.
