Anand International Pre School

If you walk down Road No 3 in the Green Hills Colony of Kothapet, you will find Anand International Pre School. We are at number 11-13-730. It is a place for the little ones who aren't old enough for the big schools yet. The building is bright, and we have toys scattered around most of the time. Pre-schoolers are a lot of work, and there is never a quiet moment. You hear singing, crying, and laughing all mixed together. The floors are covered with mats so the kids don't hurt themselves when they fall. Kothapet is a busy area, but our little corner in Green Hills Colony is slightly tucked away. Parents from the nearby apartments walk their kids over every morning. We have a small area where they can leave their tiny shoes. The kitchen area is where we keep the snacks and water bottles. It feels like a big house more than an institution. We spend a lot of time just making sure everyone stays clean and follows the schedule. Sometimes the kids don't want to go home, and other times they don't want to come in. We deal with it all. The furniture is all small, made for children. It’s a humble setup, but it keeps us busy from morning until the early afternoon. After the kids leave, we spend time tidying up the blocks and puzzles for the next day. We check the gates and lock up around four when the last child is gone.
