Amutha Primary School

We’ve been here on Road No 4 for a while now. Amutha Primary School isn't a huge place, just a regular building in Saroor Nagar where kids come every morning. You can hear the noise from the street outside throughout the day. Hyderabad weather gets hot, so we keep the fans going as much as we can. Most of the families around here know us because their kids walk to school. It’s a bit of a squeeze when everyone is arriving at once in the morning, especially with the rickshaws and parents on scooters. We spend a lot of time just keeping things organized. There’s always someone forgetting a lunch box or a water bottle in the hallway. Our classrooms are simple. We have the usual blackboards and desks that have seen better days. The staff room is small and usually smells like tea and old paper. It gets a bit chaotic during the breaks, but that is how it goes with primary students. We don’t have fancy gates or anything, just the main entrance right there on the road. Saroor Nagar is a busy area, so there is always something happening outside. We just focus on getting through the lessons and making sure the kids are safe until their parents come back at three. It is a lot of work keeping the place clean with all the dust from the road. We do our best to keep the routine going day after day. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just running a school for the neighborhood.
