Amma Vadi Play School

You can find us on the second floor of the Rainbow Building in Banjara Hills. We are in Flat Number 3/5. It’s not the biggest space, but we’ve arranged it so there’s plenty of room for the kids to move around. Being on the second floor means we are away from the street level noise of Hyderabad, which is nice. We focus on the very young ones who aren't ready for a big school yet. Most of what we do involves playing, singing, and maybe some very basic drawing. We don’t have any big corporate backing or fancy mission statements. It’s just us teachers taking care of the children while their parents are busy with work or errands. The Rainbow Building is a well-known spot in the 500034 area, so it’s easy for people to find us. Sometimes the elevator is slow or the hallway gets a bit crowded with strollers, but we just deal with it as it comes. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a kid is having a rough day, we sit with them until they feel better. It’s a small, personal setup where we know every child’s name and their parents too. We aren't trying to change the world, just providing a safe spot for the neighborhood kids to spend their mornings together. It’s a busy, happy little flat most of the time we are open.
