Amma Play School

Our play school is found in Sagar Society on Street Number 7, just off Road Number 2. It’s a nice little corner of Banjara Hills. We use Plot Number 84 for our daily activities. It’s a house that we turned into a space for kids to play and learn. Being in a society like this makes it feel more like a home than a big institution. We have a few rooms dedicated to different types of play and some basic learning stuff like colors and letters. The staff here are mostly local women who have children of their own, so they know the drill. We start in the morning and by noon most of the kids are headed back home. The street is usually quiet, except when the parents are dropping off or picking up their little ones. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just the usual toys, blocks, and books. It gets a bit messy during the day, with toys all over the floor, but that’s how you know the kids are actually playing. We don’t try to act like we are some high-end academy. We are just a local play school where parents in the 500034 area can feel okay about leaving their children for a few hours. It’s a practical, honest little place and we’ve been here for a good while now. It's just a part of the neighborhood.
