Amma Play School & Day Care

If you're walking down Road No 10 in Banjara Hills, you'll find us at Door No 8-2-602/30/5. That's where Amma Play School & Day Care is located. We started this place because we saw a need for a straightforward spot where parents could leave their kids while they go to work in Hyderabad. It’s a mix of a school and a second home for the little ones. Some kids stay just for a few hours of play, while others are with us the whole day until their parents finish their shifts. We’ve got a small team that manages the feeding, the naps, and the playtime. The building is a regular house that we've converted into a space for kids. It’s got a bit of a lived-in feel, which usually makes the children feel less nervous when they first start. We aren't trying to be the most modern facility in the city. We just have the basics covered. We spend a lot of time on the floor playing with blocks or reading stories. The 500034 area is busy, so we make sure the entrance is secure and that things are kept safe. There’s no big corporate office behind us. It’s just us doing the daily work of looking after children. Sometimes it’s a bit messy, and there’s always someone crying or laughing, but that’s a daycare for you. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep everyone happy while they are here.
