Aminabazar Adibasi Primary School

Aminabazar Adibasi Primary School is located at 8-3-229/W/23, specifically Plot No. 23 on Road No 11 in the Hylam Colony area of Jubilee Hills. This is a primary school, so our day starts very early with a lot of noise and energy from the younger kids. Hylam Colony is a specific little pocket of the city, and our school feels very much like a part of that community. The building is not very large, so we have to be smart about how we use the space. We have a small area where the kids can gather for their morning assembly, and then they head into classrooms that are decorated with their own drawings and alphabet posters. We do not have a big budget for fancy equipment, so we make do with what we have. Most of the teachers live nearby or have been working here so long they know all the families in the colony. It is a very personal environment where we know which kid is having a bad day just by looking at them. The school day is filled with the sound of kids reciting lessons and playing during their breaks. We keep things very basic and practical because that is what works for us. It is not a corporate institution; it is just a local primary school trying to give the kids in Hylam Colony a decent place to spend their day and learn their basics.
