Firdouse Traders

You can find us right near the Ali Cafe in Amberpet. We are close to the Desire Hotel, which is a good landmark if you are looking for the shop. Being in Amberpet means there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. It is a lively spot to have a business. We started Firdouse Traders here because it’s a central area for everyone. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into the space we have. It’s usually a bit crowded with stock. I spend most of my day chatting with customers or checking what we need to order next. It gets loud with the buses and autos going past the cafe, but you get used to it. We don't do much advertising. Most people just see the sign while they are out for tea or food and stop in. It’s a local kind of setup. We try to keep what people need so they don't have to travel far. Some days are slow, and I just sit on the stool and watch the street. Other days, everyone comes in at once. It keeps things interesting. Amberpet is a good neighborhood for us. We know the other shop owners nearby and we all help each other out. If you need something, just look for the hotel and the cafe, and we are right there. It is a simple place but it stays busy enough.
