Amar Hardware & Engineering Co.

We have been here on Tilak Road in Abids for quite some time now. Amar Hardware & Engineering Co. is located right near the Andament Office, specifically at Dr.No.4-3-56/1. It is a busy area and we spend most of our days dealing with various hardware parts and engineering supplies that people need for their projects. Usually, the shop is a bit dusty because of all the metal and tools lying around. We keep a lot of stuff in stock, from small bolts to bigger engineering items. People drop by when they are looking for something specific they can't find elsewhere. It isn't a fancy place. The shelves are packed and sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what a customer is asking for. If you walk past the Andament Office, you will find us easily. The building is older and has that character you only get in an area like Abids. Most mornings start with opening the shutters and checking what we have in the back. We have a lot of regulars who know us by name and just come in to browse or get what they need. It is just the way things work here. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but we are used to it. We handle a lot of requests for parts that go into machines or local construction work. It is straightforward work. No big bells or whistles, just a local shop trying to keep things moving for the locals.
