Our place is located at Sy No 14, 20, 21, 22, Bg-01, in the H S Dargah area of Shaikpet. Being near Golconda means there is a lot of history around us, but our office is very modern and plain. It is situated on the ground floor, which is convenient because we don't have to deal with any stairs or waiting for an elevator. The space is actually quite large, but we have a lot of equipment and servers taking up room. We have boxes stacked in the corner from when we first moved in and never quite finished unpacking everything. The lighting is a bit dim in some spots, so we have extra desk lamps to help us see. It is a quiet environment for the most part, except for when the traffic picks up on the main road nearby during rush hour. We do not have any big meetings or corporate events here. It is just us, sitting at our stations and getting things done. We keep a large water cooler in the corner and that is usually where people stand to chat for a minute before heading back to their screens. The walls are painted a simple cream color and we haven't bothered putting up any pictures or decorations. Most of the staff comes from the local area, so we often talk about the local news or where to find the best food for lunch. It is a very grounded, everyday workplace.
