We are located up on the fifth floor of Prathima Apartments, right on King Kothi Road in Hyderguda. The building is called Chswetha, and if you’ve ever tried to park in Hyderabad 500029, you know it can be a bit of a challenge. Our office for Alpha Genius Info Systems Pvt Ltd is in flat 501, so it’s got that apartment feel with some of the original kitchen tiles still visible. It’s packed with monitors and cables running across the floor in some places—we try to keep them organized but it’s a losing battle. The noise of the street traffic mostly fades away once you’re inside, replaced by the hum of the server and the clicking of keyboards. We spend a lot of time looking at screens, writing code, and trying to figure out why things aren't working the way they should. It’s a relaxed atmosphere; nobody really cares what you wear as long as the work gets done. We have a small balcony where some of us go to get a bit of fresh air and look out over the city rooftops. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is a good workout I guess. We keep a stash of instant noodles and biscuits in the cupboard for those days when we're working late on a deadline. It's a small group of us just trying to build things.
