Alekya Fashions

Alekya Fashions is tucked away in the G-8/A unit of the Sai Ranga Bhasker Residency. We are right there in Miyapur, sitting pretty close to the Miyapur, Bombay Highway Road. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of movement outside our doors. I spend most of my mornings sorting through the new stock and making sure things look decent on the hangers. We don't have a massive team or anything, just a few of us making sure the shop stays open and the clothes are ready for whoever walks in. Being in a residential building means we see a lot of the same faces from around the neighborhood. People stop by while they’re out running errands or heading home from work along the highway. It’s a practical setup for us because it keeps us connected to the local Miyapur community. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk while waiting for a customer, and other days we can’t keep up with the pace. The shop isn't huge, but we make use of every bit of space we have in this residency unit. We’ve been here long enough that the commute has become second nature, and we’ve seen the highway change quite a bit over the years. We just keep doing our thing with the clothes, day in and day out, without making too much of a fuss about it. We are just here doing our job.
