Alagani Foods

Our shop is number 22 in the Ranigunj area. It’s a lively place to be, especially when the morning deliveries start arriving. Alagani Foods isn't a giant supermarket; it’s more of a local spot where we handle food supplies and items. You can usually tell you're close by the different smells of whatever we have in stock that day. We spend a lot of time moving crates around and checking the inventory. It’s hard work, and your back definitely feels it by the end of the shift. We aren't big on fancy displays or bright flashing lights. The shelves are packed with what people need, and we try to keep things moving so nothing sits around too long. Ranigunj is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but once you find shop 22, you’ll see we’re just regular people working hard. We have our regulars who come in every week, and we know most of them by name. It’s a simple business, really. We buy what’s good and we sell it to the people who need it. There’s always someone stopping by for a chat while they wait. We don’t have a big corporate philosophy. We just want to make sure the food is fresh and the customers go home happy with what they bought. It's about being a part of the market and doing a fair job every single day.
