Akshaya Rice Mill

The mill is over in Jillelaguda, tucked into Sridhar Colony at 236-45. It is part of the Srinivasa area in Gayatri Nagar. If you live around here, you probably hear the sound of the machines running during the day. It is a loud place, honestly, and the air is always full of that specific smell of husks and grain. We have been running this mill for years, and it is a lot of hard work keeping everything maintained. The dust gets everywhere, no matter how much you sweep up. We mostly spend our time processing the rice and making sure the bags are ready for whoever needs them. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoons, so we usually keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through Gayatri Nagar. We have a few regular guys who have been working the machines since we started. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are in Sridhar Colony. It is a local operation through and through. You might have to shout a bit to be heard over the grinders, but we are always around. It is just a regular rice mill doing what mills do. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long. It is just how we work every single day.
