Akito Innovations is tucked away in Nizampet, specifically at Flat No-305 in Sai Venkatadri Towers. If you’ve ever tried driving down Road No-5 in Balaji Nagar during rush hour, you know it takes some patience to get here. Our office is basically a converted apartment, which gives it a more relaxed, homey vibe than a typical commercial building. We have a few rooms set up with workstations and a small kitchen area where the kettle is almost always running. Being on the third floor, we get a decent view of the street, though mostly it’s just looking at the rooftops of other apartment blocks nearby. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so you hear a lot of local sounds like kids playing or vendors shouting their prices in the morning. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is being serviced, which happens more often than we’d like. We don’t have a big reception desk or a shiny logo in the lobby; you just find the door and knock. Inside, it’s mostly just us working on laptops, often with the fans humming in the background to beat the Hyderabad heat. It’s a quiet place for the most part, and we’ve made ourselves at home here in Nizampet. We’ve got the local shop owners nearby for snacks and recharge cards, and that’s pretty much all we need to keep things moving along every day. It's nothing special, but it's our office.
