Akbar Travels

You can find us over at Jahanuma, right by the Boys Town School. Akbar Travels has been sitting here in this Lancer area for quite a while. Being so close to Charminar and Falaknuma, it gets incredibly crowded outside our door. There’s always someone shouting or a bike honking. We handle travel stuff, mostly helping people figure out where they need to go and how to get there without too much trouble. It’s a lot of paperwork and staring at computer screens. We don't have a big fancy travel lounge. It’s just a counter and some chairs that have seen better days. People come in with their passports and a lot of questions. We try to answer them the best we can. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some days are just chaos with everyone wanting to book things at the last minute. We don’t have any fancy slogans or a marketing team. We just book the tickets and hope the flights are on time. It’s a lot of talking on the phone too. Sometimes the internet acts up and we just have to wait it out. That's just how it is in this part of town. We keep it simple. If we can help you get where you're going, then we’ve done our bit for the day. It’s just how we run things.
