Air India

This office is on the second floor of a building in Khadribagh, over in the Amberpet area of Hyderabad. The address is a bit of a mouthful, specifically House Number 2-3-54/11/B/11. We have been here for a while, dealing with the local side of things for Air India. It’s not a grand terminal or a shiny airport lounge. It’s a regular office with desks, computers that sometimes act up, and a lot of filing cabinets. We handle various tasks that keep the airline moving behind the scenes. People from the neighborhood sometimes drop by with questions about their travel or just to drop off papers. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit of a climb if you're carrying heavy bags. We keep the place running through the week, and it gets pretty busy on Monday mornings. There’s always a kettle for tea in the corner and someone is usually on the phone talking to the main hub. It’s a typical Hyderabad office environment with the city noise coming in through the windows. We aren't a huge team in this particular branch, so we all end up doing a little bit of everything to keep things on track. It’s mostly just hard work and staying organized so that everything runs the way it’s supposed to for the passengers out at the airport. We’ve been part of this community in Amberpet for a good stretch now.
