Acharya Creative Studio

Our studio is tucked away in Ampro Colony, specifically Janaki Enclave in Karmanghat. It’s a small space at 10-1-92/3/13B where we do all our creative projects. We have some computers set up and a few desks that are usually covered in messy papers and half-finished sketches. It’s not one of those big, shiny agencies you see in the middle of Hyderabad. We’re just a small group of people who enjoy making things. The walls have some of our old work tacked up with tape, and there’s usually some music playing in the background to keep the energy up. We spend a lot of time sitting and looking at screens or drawing out ideas on tablets. Sometimes the coffee runs out and someone has to run to the little shop down the street to get more. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of projects going on at once, with boxes of supplies everywhere. We don’t really have fixed hours; we just stay until the work is finished for the night. People from the neighborhood sometimes drop in just to see what we're working on. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it's quiet enough for us to focus on the details. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the designs. We’re not into big presentations. We just like the process of creating something from nothing.
