Accenture

We are set up in Flat 303 at Vijaya Enclave in Kothaguda, Hyderabad. It’s an apartment building, so it feels more like a home than a big office. We like it that way because it stays quiet and we can actually hear ourselves think. Kothaguda is a busy part of town, but once you get inside the enclave, it’s much calmer. We’ve got a few rooms where we do our daily work at Accenture. There is a small balcony where we sometimes stand to get some air when the weather is nice. Hyderabad can get very hot, so the AC is usually running most of the afternoon. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and keep our lunches. It’s not a corporate skyscraper or anything like that. Just a few of us working together on whatever needs to get finished. The neighbors in the building are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we end up taking the stairs to the third floor. It’s good exercise, I guess. We have a few cupboards for files and some old chairs that have been with us since we started. It’s a practical place for us to be. Most of the time, we’re just busy at our computers or talking about what we’re going to eat for lunch.
