Our unit of Accenture Services Pvt Ltd is located in Flat No 303, which is part of the MS 10 block in Kendrya Vihar. Being in Sector 56 of Gurgaon means we are right in the middle of a very busy residential hub. It’s a bit different working out of a flat instead of a big office block. You get to know the security guards at the gate and the people living in the other apartments. The elevator is sometimes slow, so some of us just take the stairs to the third floor. It’s a practical space. We’ve got desks set up where the living room would be, and the balcony gives us a bit of fresh air when things get busy. Gurgaon can be quite loud and dusty, but inside the flat, it’s mostly just the sound of typing and some quiet conversation. We don’t have a big receptionist or a lobby. People who need to find us usually just call when they are at the gate. We handle a lot of the back-end service work here. It’s quiet, mostly. We like that we can just step out and find food or a shop within a few minutes. It feels more like a home office than anything else. There is no corporate polish here, just a group of people trying to get their lists finished before the weekend.
