Our workshop is located at 11-24 in Fathe Nagar, and being so close to the railway station means we hear the trains rattling by all day long. It’s a loud place, between the locomotives and the machines we use here. We focus on engineering products, so the air usually smells a bit like metal and machine oil. We have various tools and equipment scattered across the floor, and you have to be careful where you step. It’s a practical space, not something designed for visitors to admire. We spend our time working on different metal components, often getting our clothes dirty in the process. There is a small corner with a couple of chairs and a table where we take our breaks and have some water. The lighting isn't the best, but we have enough lamps near the workbenches to see what we’re doing. Most of our day is spent measuring, cutting, or checking the finish on the products we make. We don’t have a fancy website or a glossy brochure. Usually, people just find us because they need something specific made and they heard we could do it. It’s a lot of hard work and the hours can be long when we have a big order to finish. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure nothing leaves the shop with a flaw we missed.
