Aavanoar Systems

The office is tucked away on 20th Street in Annanagar, occupying two units, S-60 and S-61. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads, which helps when we are trying to concentrate on the technical tasks at hand. We have been working out of this space for a while, dealing with various systems and technical setups. There isn't a whole lot of decoration on the walls, just the equipment we need and some old chairs that have seen better days. It is a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but the neighborhood is decent. We spend most of our mornings going through emails and checking the hardware. Sometimes the internet acts up, but that is just part of the routine here. We usually grab tea from the stall down the corner when we need a break. The two units give us enough room to separate the storage from where we actually sit and work. It isn't a corporate setup by any means. We are just a small group of people who understand how these systems operate. On rainy days, the street gets a bit muddy, so we spend half the time cleaning the floors so we don't track dirt everywhere. People from around the block know us by name, which is nice. We just take things one day at a time, making sure the work is finished before we head home. It is a straightforward way to run a small business in this city.
