A L A Rajiah & Sons has been a fixture in Goshamahal for a long time. You can find us at 5-5-1043, which is right near the Deccan College Of Engineering. Being so close to the college means we see a lot of students and faculty walking by our doors every day. We are a family-run business, as the name says. It’s been passed down, and we take that history seriously, even if we don’t talk about it in a fancy way. The shop is filled with all sorts of things, and it can feel a little cluttered if you aren't used to it. We know exactly where everything is, though. The neighborhood of Goshamahal is always busy, with people shouting and vehicles honking. Our building is an older one, and it has that specific smell of old wood and dust. We aren't interested in being a big chain or opening up a dozen branches. We like being right here where people know our names and where we know the families who live down the street. It’s a simple way of doing business. Sometimes the sons are here, sometimes it’s just one of us holding down the fort. We don't have a big marketing plan. People just know where 5-5-1043 is when they need something done right. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in. There is no point in trying to be something we are not. We are just a local family business near a college. The students keep us feeling young, and the old customers keep us grounded. It’s a nice balance to have after all these years in Goshamahal. We will probably be here for many more.
