Koliwad Marbles & Granites

We are located out at number 21 on P.B. Road, right in Kotagundanahunshi Village. If you know where Kundgol Cross is, then you’ve probably seen our yard. Koliwad Marbles & Granites is basically a big open space where we keep all our stock. Since we are right on the main road, we get a lot of dust from the passing buses and trucks, but it’s a great spot for people to pull over. Moving heavy marble and granite is tough work and we spend most of our day outside in the yard. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning; it’s just us, the stone, and the tools. Some days are quieter than others, but there’s always something to organize or a slab to move around. The guys working here are mostly locals from the village or nearby towns. We’ve been doing this for years and we know these stones inside and out. When someone comes by looking for something specific, we usually know exactly where it is in the pile. It’s a very practical business. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just show people what we have and let the stone speak for itself. Living and working near the village means we move at a slightly different pace than the city, which suits us just fine.
