Kalkudla Stone Industries

You can find us over at No.2A in the Priy Darshni Colony, which is right off Gokul Road. It’s a decent area for what we do, even if the traffic on the main road gets a bit loud during the afternoons. We handle a lot of stone work here, and the industrial side of things means there is always something going on. The machines can be noisy, so we try to get the heavy cutting done early. We've got a small crew that has been with us for years. They know the routine and how to handle the materials without breaking anything. The colony is mostly residential around the edges, so we try to keep the mess to a minimum, though stone dust has a way of getting everywhere. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of the work is hands-on, checking the quality of what comes in and making sure the orders are right. The office is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a fan that barely works in the summer heat. It’s not a fancy corporate office, that’s for sure. We just focus on the stone and making sure the trucks are loaded properly before they head out. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We've been at this for a while and don't plan on changing much about how we run things.
