About Little Millennium - Maidan – Education in Howrah
Howrah is a busy place, and Panchanantala Road is right in the thick of it. Our address is 65/2, and if you know the area, you know it’s always crowded with people and rickshaws. The school is a bit like a small escape from that noise. Since we deal with younger children, the rooms are painted with colors, though some of the paint is peeling a bit near the corners. We have these small chairs and tables that look tiny to an adult, but they are just right for the kids. The floor is covered with mats in some places so nobody gets hurt if they trip. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when parents are dropping their kids off at the same time. You can hear the sounds of the street from the windows—the horns and the shouting of vendors. We just focus on the morning routine, getting the kids settled and starting the activities. The staff at Little Millennium - Maidan is used to the chaos of Howrah. We have a small cupboard full of toys and another one full of snacks and water bottles. It isn't a huge, fancy campus, just a few rooms where we spend our days. The air can be a bit heavy in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going. It’s just a regular local spot for families around Panchanantala Road who need a place for their children nearby.
