Halima Mini Brick Products is over in Radhanagar, specifically in the Dakshin Radhanagar area. We’re under the Shyampur police station jurisdiction here in the district. It’s a local setup where we make these mini bricks. It’s a bit different from the standard size you see everywhere else. The process is pretty manual. We mix the clay and press it into the molds, then let them dry out in the sun before they go to the kiln. It takes a lot of patience because you can’t rush the drying part or the bricks will crack. We’ve had our fair share of bad batches, usually when a sudden rainstorm hits and we can’t cover everything in time. It’s a small family-style operation. We don’t have a corporate office or anything like that. We just work on the land we have in Radhanagar. People in the district know us for the specific size we make. It’s quiet work for the most part, except for when we’re firing the bricks. We just take things one day at a time and try to make enough to keep the business going. We’ve been in Shyampur for years and we don't plan on going anywhere else. It’s a lot of dirt and sweat, but it’s what we know. The days are long, but we just keep at it until the job is done.
