We are located out in Nabanagar, which is part of the Andul area over in Howrah. To find us, you have to head towards the Duillya post office near the 711302 pin code area. It is a bit of a journey from the main Kolkata city center but the quietness here helps with the work we do. Since this is an international call center, our office is usually busiest when the sun goes down in West Bengal because that is when our clients on the other side of the world are waking up. We have a lot of young people from the local neighborhood who come in to take calls and help out. The office space is simple with rows of desks and headsets everywhere. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon heat but we have our backups to keep the computers running. There is a small tea stall just down the road where everyone goes to grab a quick chai during their breaks between calls. We spend most of our time talking to people from different countries and trying to understand their problems while managing the files. It gets a bit loud when everyone is on the phone at once but that is just how it goes here every day.
