Universal Tech CNC

Universal Tech CNC is tucked away in B2, Alur. We’re pretty close to the Sipcot Stage II industrial area, which means it’s always busy with trucks and workers around here. It’s a practical sort of place. Our floor is mostly concrete and covered in the usual signs of a machine shop like oil spots and metal shavings. We focus on CNC work, so there’s always a hum coming from the machines. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush chairs or a reception desk. Usually, you’ll find one of us standing over a machine or checking a drawing on a piece of paper that’s seen better days. The weather can get quite hot in Alur, and the workshop gets warm, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We’ve been at this for a bit, and we’ve seen the industrial estate change over the years. Most of our day is spent making sure the programs are running right and that the parts are coming out okay. We take our breaks when we can, usually sitting on whatever is available with a cold drink. It’s hard work, and your hands get dirty within the first ten minutes of the shift. We don't really do much talking unless it’s about the job at hand. It’s just a straightforward machine shop doing what needs to be done every day.
