Jennex Granite Industries Pvt. Ltd. is situated in the SIPCOT Industrial Complex. We are in Phase-II, Expansion-1, specifically at unit E-16. It’s a massive area with lots of other companies around. Since we deal with granite, the place is always a bit dusty. You can hear the saws cutting through stone throughout the day. It’s a heavy kind of work. We have big slabs of rock moved around by cranes and forklifts. The sun beats down on the yard, making the stones hot to the touch in the afternoons. Our team is used to the physical nature of the job. We aren't the type to sit in air-conditioned offices all day. Most of us are out on the floor or in the yard checking the quality of the granite. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the complex grow. The work is repetitive but there is a certain rhythm to it that we like. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just process the stone and get it ready for transport. It’s honest labor and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. There’s always another truck to load or another batch to check. We just keep our focus on the slabs and let the work speak for itself. It keeps the lights on.
