Thapar Chicken Corner

Our shop, Thapar Chicken Corner, is located at Prabhat Chowk in Hoshiarpur, right near the petrol pump. It’s a busy corner because of the petrol pump and the traffic coming through the chowk. You can usually smell what we are cooking before you even see the shop. We have a small outdoor area where people sometimes stand around, and the inside is just a few tables and a counter. It gets quite warm near the stoves, especially in the summer months, but we are used to it by now. Hoshiarpur is a good town, and being at this specific chowk means we see a lot of people passing through on their way somewhere else. We aren't a big place with a lot of staff, just a small group of us trying to keep up with the orders. Sometimes we run out of things toward the end of the evening if it’s been a particularly busy day. The furniture is a bit old and the floor has some scuffs from all the feet walking in and out, but it doesn't bother anyone. We keep our address simple and our way of doing things is even simpler. If you are near the petrol pump at Prabhat Chowk, you’ll probably see us. We don't have any big plans to change things; we just like serving the people who have been coming to us for years. It is just our daily routine at the shop.
