Sunasik Farmer Producer Company Limited operates out of Joga Musahib village. We are set up at Rewati Devi’s place, which serves as our main point of contact for everyone in the area. Farming is what we know, so starting this company felt like the next natural step for us. We spend most of our time out in the fields, and this office is just where the administrative side happens. It’s a simple setup with a few chairs and some files. We don’t have a big corporate hierarchy. If something needs to be done, whoever is available does it. Whether it is loading sacks or writing down figures, we all pitch in. The village life dictates our schedule. When it’s sowing time, you won’t find anyone in the office. When the harvest is in, it’s a total mess of activity. We try to help the local farmers get better access to what they need, like good seeds or tools. It’s not always a smooth process. Sometimes the transport is late or the prices aren't what we hoped for. But we just keep going. We are just a bunch of people from Joga Musahib trying to make a living and keep our traditions alive while using this new company structure to stay organized. It’s about the work and the people, not about looking important or having a fancy title.
