Saroya Block Farmer Producer Companylimited is based out of Village Sahiba. We are located in the Balachaur tehsil of Nawanshahr, which is also known as Nawan Shehar. Our office is cared for by Avtar Singh, who is the son of Mr. Kewal Singh. It is a very local, village-based operation. We don't have a big staff or a fancy building. We just work from a simple spot in the village where we can be close to the farmers we represent. Sahiba is a place where farming is the main way of life. Most of us here have grown up with dirt under our fingernails. We understand what the local producers go through because we live it ourselves. The work involves a lot of meetings under the shade of a tree or in our small office space. We talk about the crops, the soil, and how to get things to market. It is all very practical and honest work. We don't have time for corporate slogans or mission statements. We just focus on the day-to-day needs of the farmers in the Saroya block. Sometimes the paperwork is a headache, and things don't always move as fast as we would like, but we stay at it. Punjab has a long history of farming, and we are just trying to keep that tradition going in our own small way. It is a good community to be a part of, and we are proud to be here.
