Radhasoami High School

If you head down Station Basti Road in Timarni, you will find Radhasoami High School. We are located right here in the Harda district. Being near the station means the sound of the train whistles is pretty much the background music for our classes. The school has been around for some time, and it’s a big part of the local community here in Timarni. We have students coming in from all the nearby areas, some walking and some on bicycles. The building is a typical high school structure with long corridors and heavy wooden doors. In the winter, the mornings are quite cold and misty, but the kids still show up for assembly. We have a playground that gets a bit muddy when it rains, but the boys still play football there anyway. The teachers’ room is usually full of half-corrected notebooks and some tiffin boxes. It is a very straightforward place. We don’t have air conditioning or fancy labs, but we have enough benches and blackboards to get the job done. The school day starts early and ends when the sun is still high. Most of the parents here are hardworking people, and they want their kids to finish high school properly. We just try to keep the routine going and make sure the bells ring on time. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us and the families in Harda.
