Patel Kaniram School

Patel Kaniram School is situated in Panjra Village, which is part of Hoshangabad with the pin code 461001. We are a village school through and through. The building is simple and sits among the houses and fields of Panjra. It’s the kind of place where the kids walk to school from their homes nearby. We don't have big buses or a fancy front gate. The classrooms are basic, with wooden desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. We focus on the basics of education because that is what the families here need. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we try to keep the windows open for a breeze. The staff consists of people who understand the local way of life. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or a big library, but we have enough books to go around. Sometimes the village dogs wander into the yard, and we have to shoo them out. It is a quiet existence for the most part, away from the noise of the bigger cities. People here know us as a dependable part of the village. We don’t put up big posters or try to look like something we aren't. We’re just here to teach the local children and give them a place to grow up together. It's a modest life, but it works for us.
