S.S. Enterprise

Our business, S.S. Enterprise, is at No-414, Tetultala Lane in Chinsurah. It’s a quiet residential lane, so we try not to make too much noise. The building is just a regular one, and we use a few rooms on the main floor. We’ve been here for several years, and we’ve become a part of the local scene. Chinsurah is a nice place to work because it’s not as frantic as the bigger cities. We have a small team of local people. Human resources departments and complex rules aren't found here. If someone needs a day off, they just say so. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or handling the paperwork that comes with running an enterprise. There’s a big tree outside our window that gives us some nice shade in the afternoon. Our furniture is mostly second-hand, but it is sturdy enough. Mission statements and corporate goals aren't something we worry about. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and then go home to our families. Sometimes we stay late if there’s a lot to do, but we usually try to finish on time. It’s a modest way of doing things. We’re just a small group of people at No-414 Tetultala Lane trying to keep everything running smoothly.
