You can find us over at 3 No. Iswar Mukherjee Lane in Konnagar. It's a quiet enough street, tucked away a bit. We started this because there weren't many places nearby to get a computer looked at without traveling too far. Most days it's just fixing broken screens or trying to recover files from a dead hard drive. People in Konnagar know us as the place to go when the internet stops working at home. We carry some spare parts, mostly bits and pieces for older PCs that people still use. The shop isn't very large, just enough room for a workbench and a couple of chairs for customers to wait. We see a lot of students coming in with their laptops. Sometimes the issues are simple, like a loose connection, and sometimes it takes a couple of days to get a part from the city. We don't go for anything fancy, just solid work. The lighting inside could be better, but it works for soldering and small repairs. We’ve had some customers coming to us for years now. It’s a local business through and through. We try to keep things organized, but when three or four people bring in desktops at the same time, it gets a bit cramped. We just keep working through the pile until everything is sorted. It is usually just one or two of us here most days.
