Chinsurah Station Road is always buzzing with people coming off the trains and heading home. SDD System & Services is located right in the middle of it all, near the Post- Rabindra Nagar area. Our shop is under the P.S.- Chinsurah jurisdiction, and it’s a place where we spend most of our waking hours. The sound of the train whistles is something you just get used to after a week or two of working here. We don't have a lot of space, but we keep the place organized enough to find what we need. Most of the day is spent handling small tasks and talking to people who wander in from the station road. Rabindra Nagar is a good neighborhood, and we’ve made a lot of friends among the other local business owners. SDD System & Services isn't a big corporation; it’s just a small team of us trying to do a good job day in and day out. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but that’s just life in Chinsurah. We keep a ledger on the main desk and a few stools for whoever wants to sit and talk for a minute. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it keeps things simple. The tea here is strong and the snacks from the vendor across the street are what get us through the afternoon slump. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on this road over the years.
