Jindal Steel

Our shop is at H.N. 22 in Patel Nagar, Hissar. Hissar is famous for steel, so we fit right in here. It’s a pretty standard setup. We have the yard for the Jindal Steel products and a small room where we keep the books. It’s nothing like those big corporate offices in the cities. Here, we know our neighbors and we know the local truckers by name. The dust is just part of the atmosphere in Patel Nagar. We spend most of the day wearing sturdy boots and old clothes because things get messy. It’s a practical business. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. Most of the furniture has been here since we opened. We focus on getting the steel moved and the orders filled. Sometimes we have to stay late if a shipment arrives late at night. That’s just how the steel business works. My hands are usually a bit rough from handling the paperwork and the occasional piece of metal. We don't talk much about visions or anything like that. We just focus on what needs to be loaded onto the next truck. 125001 is the pincode for this area. It’s a quiet enough street until the heavy vehicles start coming through. We're just here, doing what we know how to do. It’s a living and we are proud of the work we put in.
