Chirag Steel Traders

Chirag Steel Traders is situated at Plot No. 433/15 in the Old Anaj Mandi. This area has a lot of history and has always been a place where people come to trade goods. Our shop focuses entirely on steel products, from reinforcement bars used in foundations to the metal sheets people use for roofing or gates. The space is a bit tight because steel takes up a lot of room and it is very heavy to move around. We have a couple of workers who are experts at loading the material onto carts and trucks without hurting themselves. It is a very industrial atmosphere, with the clanging of metal being the main sound you hear all day long. I took over this spot from my father, and not much has changed in terms of how we do things. We still use the same old heavy-duty scales to weigh everything. The walls are a bit stained and the desk is covered in old notebooks, but it works for us. We get a lot of walk-in customers from the surrounding neighborhoods who are building small shops or fixing up their homes. Dealing with the fluctuating prices of steel is the biggest challenge we face, but we try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. It is a basic, no-nonsense business and we like it that way. We don't see any reason to make it more complicated or formal than it needs to be.
