Ultratech Cement

You can find us over at 1-25-39 Pavagada Road in Roddam. We are the local Ultratech Cement outlet here. It is a basic operation. We spend most of our time out in the front where the trucks pull in. Roddam is a small place, so word travels fast, and we don't really need to do much to let people know we are here. The Pavagada Road is the main artery for us, and we see the same drivers coming and going all the time. Our day starts early, usually before the sun gets too high, so we can get the heavy lifting done while it is still cool. The shop is mostly just a warehouse space for the bags. We keep a small desk in the corner for the receipts and the phone. There is always a bit of cement dust in the air, but that is just part of the trade. We don't have a fancy showroom. If someone needs cement for a wall or a house, they come by, we load up their vehicle, and they go on their way. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. Sometimes we share a tea with the laborers who are waiting for their transport. We aren't trying to be the biggest business around; we just want to make sure the builders in Roddam have what they need to get their jobs finished on time.
