Prakash Traders

Our shop, Prakash Traders, is located at Door No-18-1-84 on M.F Road. It is a very busy street with a lot of people walking by at all hours. We have been operating from this same spot since our children were very small. The building itself has definitely seen better days. You can see the plaster cracking a bit near the front door, but it is a sturdy old place that serves us well. We sell all kinds of supplies that the people in this neighborhood might need. It is a bit of a mix, really, depending on what is in demand at the time. I usually sit on a stool at the front near the entrance so I can greet everyone coming in. M.F Road is always noisy with the sound of bikes and cars, but after all these years, you just stop noticing it. We have a small room in the back where we keep our extra stock. It is a little bit cramped and you really have to watch your head on the low ceiling beam. I have bumped my head there more times than I care to remember. We don't use any kind of computer system here. Everything gets written down by hand in a big blue notebook. My son wants me to get a laptop, but I like doing things this way. We know our customers and they know us. That is what matters.
