Uttarakhand Travel House

You can find us at Uttarakhand Travel House, which is inside the Hotel Ashok building in Shivalik Nagar. Shivalik Nagar is a nice part of Haridwar, a bit more organized than the old city. Since we are in the hotel building, we get a lot of guests who stay there and need a car for the day. We’ve been operating from here for some years now. It’s a steady business. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations in the office, just the usual maps on the wall and a computer that sometimes acts up. We mostly arrange taxis for local trips or longer journeys into the hills. Shivalik Nagar is full of people who work at the big BHEL plant, so we have a lot of regular local customers too. It’s a different vibe than the main ghats. It’s quieter here, but we still stay busy. We manage a small fleet of vehicles. Our main job is just making sure the drivers are ready and the customers are happy with the ride. We don't use any big words or marketing tricks. We just tell people the price and the time.
